Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is an effective procedure for exfoliating the skin and removing fine vellus hair (peach fuzz).  It removes the top-most layer of the facial skin, eliminating dead skin cells. Dermaplaning is a form of manual exfoliation, which smoothes the skin of that soft, fine facial hair. It is often used to help prepare skin for more intrusive procedures such as laser treatments and chemical peels. Dermaplaning also allows for greater penetration of skincare products allowing makeup to glide on smoothly. It can be done in conjunction with a light peel for a really nice treatment to tighten and rejuvenate the skin.
